by Dallice TyleeIn 1913, the first Realtors took an oath to uphold a Realtor® Code of Ethics. They were only the second trade or business group in the U.S to do so.
You might remember a post I published about the Code of Ethics about a year ago.
The Code of Ethics that guides a Realtor® to represent a client in the best possible way, is still in place today... identifying and reminding us of the professional responsibilities owed to clients, customers, other Realtors® and the general public.

Next year, 2013, marks the 100th anniversary of the National Association of Realtors (NAR).
I am a proud member of this association, along with the Colorado Association of Realtors (CAR) and my local board... the Boulder Area Realtor Association (BARA).
Without them, my opportunities for continuing education, camaraderie and a wealth of real estate related resources would be severely limited. My clients would not benefit from the specialty education I frequently indulge in nor the "grape vine" information that passes from Realtor® to Realtor®.
Congratulations Realtors! Yes, all 1 million of you!
